Father John D'Amico Trio to play at Brandywine Creek State Park

This is the second of the three free summer concerts hosted by the Friends of Brandywine Creek State Park at the park this summer.

"Father John" is considered one of Philadelphia's outstanding Jazz composers, lyricist and pianists. They have had numerous concerts broadcast live on radio stations and have played at various festivals and event all over the surrounding area.

Concert will be held in the amphitheatre. If the weather does not cooperate, the concert will be held in the Nature Center.

(Note – park entrance fees still in effect for this event)

Brandywine River Tire Cleanup

July 19th, starting at 8:30am
July 26th (raindate)

The purpose of this environmentally important cleanup event is to remove the discard tires in the Brandywine River downstream from the Thompsons Bridge picnic area. The recovered tires will be recycled for fuel purposes. We need a large number of participants to help with this endeavor so please sign up.
